STEM EDUCATION
Visit the SAIL250®MARYLAND STEM Education Tent, hosted by Living Classrooms Foundation, will be located at the Baltimore Inner Harbor Festival. U.S. Navy, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and other Science, Technology, Engineering and Math educational organizations will be providing fun, hands on programming designed to inspire young people to explore career paths in maritime, aviation, science and technology fields. The STEM Tent will be open from 10AM to 5PM, Friday June 26 through Sunday, June 28.

LIVING HISTORY PROGRAMMING
Visit the SAIL250®MARYLAND LIVING HISTORY Center located on Pier 1, Baltimore Inner Harbor next to USS CONSTELLATION. Historic Ships in Baltimore will host Ship’s Company living history educators along with the USS CONSTITUTION Sailors from Boston, the Fort McHenry Guard, and other reenactors depicting sailors and officers of the past and providing hands-on activities designed to make sailors out of everyone! While you’re here, visit the other vessels in the Historic Ships in Baltimore fleet including the submarine USS TORSK, Lightship 116 CHESAPEAKE, US Coast Guard Cutter WEC-37, and the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse.

Join Living Classrooms Foundation and Historic Ships in Baltimore for a three-day educational activation celebrating America’s 250th birthday. We’re inviting organizations, nonprofits, and partners to become exhibitors and help bring maritime heritage, STEM learning, and hands-on discovery to thousands of visitors during Sail250® Maryland & Airshow Baltimore. Exhibitors will engage families, students, educators, and community members through interactive displays, demonstrations, and activities that highlight maritime history, naval and aviation science, Chesapeake Bay ecology, engineering, technology, and more.
As part of this landmark celebration, exhibitors will have the opportunity to share their mission with more than 10,000 visitors, inspire the next generation of innovators, and connect directly with regional partners contributing to this national semiquincentennial event.
